Catherine Phillips is a Red River Métis writer with English, Irish, and Scottish heritage. Her Métis family names include Brown, Johnston, Moore, Richards, Thomas, and Truthwaite. Her maternal roots are in Manitoba.
Catherine’s work has appeared in The New Quarterly, Room, and The Hart House Review, among others. In 2024, she was selected to participate in the Audible Indigenous Writers’ Circle program. She lives in Tkaronto.
